BSA B25 Sonic Weld Flat Tracker
BSA B25 Sonic Weld Flat Tracker
This motorcycle was born into racing and was never on the street. The case was ordered directly from the BSA factory in 1967 and has no title or identification number. The B25 motor is installed into an original 1967 Ray Hensley Sonic Weld nickel plated wet frame.
The motor has a dual plug head, Carrillo rod, lightened crankshaft and light alloy barrel with liner installed to include HC 12.1 forged piston and a Kenny Noggle cam. An ARD ignition gives it the fire. Barnette hi-performance clutch, springs, and cable control the reverse pattern transmission (1 up 3 down) and are covered by the custom primary cover. Mikuni 34mm carburetor bored to 35mm with UNI filter supply the fuel from a BSA Victor aluminum fuel tank. The reversed cone exhaust system is custom tuned. Borrani shouldered WM3 rims are laced to Barnes quick change rear and spooled front hubs. New Maxxix 27.0×7.0 tires front and rear. Redwing front fork with extended Jerry Cheney axles plates on the rear. First Klass Glass for front fork protectors. It runs a safe 8,400 rpm (rev limiter).
This bike won the season 2011 Eddie Mulder West Coast Dirt Track Series with 1st place wins at Willow Springs and 3rd place in the season series for 2010. Sold with a Bill of Sale.
