Honda CR125 Elsinore

Honda CR125 Elsinore

This bike was sold new in 1975 in Vancouver British Columbia as a birthday present for a 14 year old boy. The boy rode it once and scarred himself with the amazing power of the CR 125’s racing engine. His father witnessed this and decided it was too much bike for his son. As a result the bike was never ridden. In other words the bike remained in the family garage until 1998 when the second owner acquired it. This 50 year old owner cleaned the fuel system and rode it very casually on the grass around his property. The bike effectively has never been ridden in the dirt. The bike is completely original which includes original paint on the tank which is in excellent shape with only a couple of minor scratches, the seat, the grips, the tires, the cables, the aluminum rims, the fenders, the carburetor, the unique to CR full exhaust system are original factory installed parts. This is a 37 year old Moto Cross Race bike in original condition, very very hard to find one that has not been raced and beat up. Even the factory chaulk marks on the frame nuts are still clearly visible. You can restore a Moto Cross Racer but how many original unmolested ones have you seen. This is a unique piece of Honda’s fantastic racing history, and deserves to be put in a collection with other fine motorcycles. Sold with a Bill of Sale.
