Fully restored 1948 Indian Chief. The seller purchased this Indian Chief in 1980 from James Sutter of Indian Motorcycle Supply, Sugar Grove, Illinois. The motorcycle went through a complete ground up restoration including engine rebuild, frame, wheels, saddle, plating, and paint. James Sutter oversaw the restoration for the current owner. The restoration was completed 10 years ago and has only covered 11 miles since then. This is a matching numbers example which still retains all of its original sheet metal. Titled in Illinois as a 1949 for when the motorcycle was originally sold.
