When taking pictures, please take the following into consideration:
Background - Place your motorcycle in a setting free from any other motorcycles or clutter. It is best to place your motorcycle in front of a plain colored background such as a garage door or a wall. Try not to have anything other than your motorcycle in the pictures.
Location - For best results, shoot pictures of your motorcycle OUTDOORS. Natural outdoor lighting is the best and will help to enhance the details and beauty of your motorcycle.
Proper Angles - A picture of the both sides of the motorcycle is essential. Prospective bidders like to see both sides of a motorcycle. It is also very important to show the whole motorcycle, DO NOT CHOP THE TIRES OFF!
Image Quality - To advertise your motorcycle best, we request high-resolution images. Digital images are preferred as they maintain their clarity in all forms of advertising. Pictures should be taken on the highest possible quality setting and use a tripod to aid in taking the clearest picture possible.
If you are submitting 35mm pictures please see if your photo processing lab can put your images on a CD in addition to making prints.
Below are a few examples of acceptable and unacceptable pictures.
