2012 Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction
The pinnacle of the industry! Five hundred motorcycles in three days! See motorcycles you may never see again. Meet friends in a city built for fun. Talk to experts and owners of the motorcycles you have dreamed of for years. Take home that motorcycle! For twenty-one years MidAmerica buyers and sellers have looked forward and saved the dates for the LAS VEGAS MOTORCYCLE AUCTION. This is the legacy of a company dedicated to its customers and grateful acknowledgement to that “network family” that made it possible. It is our hope you will join our family.
The 21st Annual Las Vegas Antique Motorcycle Auction with special guest of honor, Barbara McQueen. Barbara will be presenting her two books written about her life and times with Steve McQueen. She will also be in attendance as we offer her husband’s Husqvarna for auction.
Results Are In!
Another honest record setter!
For the past 21 years we at MidAmerica Auctions have been honored that over 3,000 MidAmerica Auctions customers have chosen our Las Vegas Auction as the venue to sell or buy a motorcycle. This year’s 21st Annual MidAmerica Las Vegas Auction held at the South Point Hotel, once again set the standard for the antique motorcycle market with $4,600,000 in bona fide sales! Over 80% of the motorcycles sold with many world record prices being set. With so many quality motorcycles offered at this year’s MidAmerica Las Vegas Auction it was difficult to pick a star motorcycle. Many people considered the stunning, unrestored 1915 Iver Johnson one of the best original motorcycles in the world – and the bidders agreed – it sold for $299,600! The Iver Johnson was not the only record setter at the South Point Hotel. Many motorcycles far exceeded the seller’s reserve, set record sale prices and found new homes.
Our 2012 Vegas auction results are posted. The feedback and results from our Las Vegas Auction, have once again told us that you, the buyers, want to purchase a quality motorcycle from the real owner, not the auction company. MidAmerica Auctions will NOT go out and buy a group of motorcycles and resell them as a “collection” only to have you bid against the auction company so they can protect their investment. We have always felt this is a conflict of interest. MidAmerica Auctions works for the seller and buyer – NOT ourselves!
Once again, a big thank you to all who made the 21st Annual MidAmerica Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction a success! We hope to see you at one of our upcoming 2012 motorcycle events in Florida, St. Paul, Minnesota, New York or Las Vegas, Nevada.
