Already a much desired motorcycle, this bike has been enhanced with appearance and performance upgrades. Last summer it took second place in the Cafe Racer class at the 17th Annual Classic Japanese Motorcycle Club show in Auburn, California.
The GB500 was imported into the U.S. 1989-1990. Equipped with a 500cc single cylinder engine overhead cam with a 4-valve cylinder head with two exhaust outlets. Five speed transmission and an electric starter. With 1,350 original miles on the bike.
The dark green metallic paint is immaculate and the chrome is spotless. Unlike many, the seat cowl is in perfect condition. Improvements include: Progressive Suspension fork springs, custom Works Performance rear shocks, Mikuni TM38 flat slide carburetor, K&N air filter, custom stainless steel exhaust system with a brushed stainless silencer and modern Bridgestone Battlax tires. All controls and instruments work flawlessly with custom Motion Pro cables. It has a maintenance free battery, unobtrusive aftermarket turn signals and small bar end mirror. Owner and shop manuals are included. Fresh oil and filter make this Honda ready to go.
